Ferrari ready to challenge the Silver Arrows on one of the most complex tracks in the world championship
Formula 1 | GP Spain, Ferrari ready for redemption: "Here to overturn the result"

Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc have arrived in Barcelona, where from tomorrow they will be protagonists on the track in the fifth round of the season.

The two drivers of Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow will be able to count on an SF90 equipped with a new power unit and the latest aerodynamic updates, after a first tranche of innovations was introduced in Baku two weeks ago.

Traditional walk. In the middle of the morning, Sebastian and Charles completed their first lap of the track, the one that drivers usually do on foot to regain confidence with the circuit, even if the Montmelò track has very few secrets as it is the scene of most of the tests. After meeting with the engineers for the briefings to prepare for the activities scheduled for the weekend, Sebastian met the media at the FIA press conference, appearing combative as always: “Morale is high and the atmosphere in the team is great. We have more upgrades here after the ones brought to Baku and we think we will be competitive. I've always believed that our package is very interesting, we just had some problems putting all the pieces together to always be the fastest."

In hospitality. Shortly afterwards it was Charles' turn in the team motorhome. The Monegasque also confirmed the compactness and willingness to react that reigns in the team: “We are extremely close as a team and this can be felt in the team dynamics. I believe that as happened recently in the Champions League, in which a team overcame a very heavy deficit at the start, there is also a strong desire in our country to reverse the trend after a difficult start in terms of results. We will give it our all."

Free tomorrow. From tomorrow therefore things get serious, with free practice scheduled for 11am and 15pm. On Saturday qualifying will start at 15pm, preceded at midday by the last free practice session. The 49th Spanish Grand Prix will start on Sunday at 15.10pm.
