We bring you the highlights of the first day of free practice valid for the Mexican Grand Prix, the 19th round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. At the end of a difficult Friday characterized by dirt on the track, Max Verstappen managed to climb to the top of the standings general of the times, leaving behind by a large margin the two Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton, as well as the other Red Bull of Sergio Perez.

An extremely positive start to the weekend which gives the team hope ahead of yesterday. Fifth position for the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz, followed by Pierre Gasly, Charles Leclerc (protagonist of a contact with the barriers in the morning), Yuki Tsunoda and Sebastian Vettel.
