The Formula 1 circus moves overseas for the seventh world championship round. The appointment next weekend is with the Pirelli Grand Prix of Canada, which has been held since 1978 on the Montreal circuit, deferred and free to all, on TV8.

On the Canadian circuit, the infighting between the two Mercedes drivers, the star performers of this first part of the season, continues. On the one hand Lewis Hamilton, who leads the drivers' standings with 137 points, capable of winning on four occasions already; on the other, Valtteri Bottas, just 17 points behind his teammate, capable of winning in Australia and Azerbaijan. Ferrari and Red Bull have the task of interrupting the undisputed dominance of the Silver Arrows.

Saturday 8 June, the programming dedicated to Formula 1 opens at 20.30 pm, with the qualifying paddock with the declarations of the experts a few minutes before the start of the qualifying sessions, with a delayed start at 21.30 pm, which assigns the positions on the grid of departure. Sunday 9 June, at 19.30 pm, the unpublished episode of "Circuiti dalegend", which focuses on the characteristics and curiosities of the Canadian track.

Afterwards, at 20.00 pm, the adrenaline rises with the race paddock to breathe, directly from the starting grid, the pre-race atmosphere with the final statements of the drivers and professionals before the green light.

The Pirelli Grand Prix of Canada will start at 21.30pm, on a delayed basis. After the checkered flag, at 23.15 pm, the awards ceremony on the podium with the national anthems and, at 23.30 pm, the post-race paddock with live interviews with the protagonists of the race and the team principals of the most established teams.

The Pirelli Grand Prix of Canada, named after Gilles Villeneuve, includes 70 trips (each measuring 4,361 km), for a total distance of 305,27 km. The best lap time was achieved by Rubens Barrichello, on a Ferrari, in 2004, with a time of 1'13''622.

Sebastian Vettel won here last year, ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen. Lewis Hamilton was only fifth, but was able to win on the Canadian track on 6 occasions, including 3 consecutively from 2015 to 2017
