Formula 1 | Fittipaldi returns aboard the VF-22: “Productive working day”

Moderate satisfaction for Pietro Fittipaldi at the end of the first day of free practice valid for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the last round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship. Taking to the track in this morning's FP1, in place of Mick Schumacher, the Brazilian managed to complete the entire pre-established work program of the team, collecting important data and information in terms of development for 2023.

“I always adapt quickly to this year's car,” said the Brazilian. “I think the characteristics of this generation suit my riding well, as I can feel a lot of confidence and this allows me to push and be aggressive. The work program was completed smoothly and we managed to do some good runs. I showed the team what I am capable of and that was the most important thing."
