About the statements made by Maurizio Arrivabene during the World Finals in Monza, Sebastian Vettel underlined how the warmth of the fans was an aspect that was never lacking during the last championship, especially in the most complicated periods from a performance point of view.

In an interview given to Corriere della Sera, in fact, the German wanted to thank all the Rossa fans who supported him during 2018, highlighting how this affection allowed him to regain his self-confidence after a championship finale extremely difficult and full of obstacles.

Here are the words of Sebastian Vettel: “I must admit that the support of the fans has never been lacking. The warmth of the fans was very engaging this year, certainly more so than in the past, and in the most difficult periods of the season this helped me not to get down in spirits, regaining my confidence".

On 2019 he added: “We always have reasons that allow us to think positively. Ferrari can count on strong and technically prepared people, not to mention that everything is put in its place, which is why I am very optimistic."
