Formula 1 | Ferrari, Shwartzman seventh at the end of the first session

For the second time this season Robert Shwartzman took to the track with the Ferrari F1-75 in a free practice session. After the PL1 in Austin, it was Abu Dhabi's turn for the Russian driver, who unfortunately was unable to find a starting seat in 2023. A positive seventh position for the former PREMA driver, who will return to the track in Abu Dhabi during the young drivers' tests on Tuesday again in the Ferrari, and he will have the car all to himself.

“The free practice session was good and I am satisfied with the progress I was able to make – the Russian said. Finishing seventh was a great satisfaction, I felt comfortable in the car and we completed the program without any problems. We started the round by testing some developments and the team was satisfied with the data we collected, which can only please me. I thank the Scuderia for this opportunity and I can't wait to get back in the car next Tuesday for a full day of testing, where I hope to improve myself further and accumulate even more experience behind the wheel of this generation of cars."
