The Canadian Grand Prix confirmed how Carlos Sainz has taken one step further in terms of feeling with his F1-75. The Spaniard's start to the season, beyond the podiums, was not exciting by his own admission, but in Montreal he came close to winning after a very positive weekend, and only a great Verstappen on an amazing Red Bull prevented him from to win the first victory of his career, an objective which, according to his words, it will definitely arrive very soon.

“Aside from the final placing, what was positive for me in Montreal was my confidence with the car – Carlos said. It was good throughout the Grand Prix and allowed me to ride the way I like. Now we need to maintain it here at Silverstone too and start to achieve notable results consistently in the four races before the summer break. Together with the team we will tackle the races one at a time, focusing on the details, which are what can make the difference. The potential to fight up front is there and I believe that if we do well the results will come. At that point we can start looking at the rankings because anything can happen."
