Satisfaction at Ferrari at the end of the second free practice session for the British Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2018 Formula One World Championship. The Finn, in fact, showed off excellent race pace, proving convincing especially with the softer compounds.

A positive indication that will allow Ferrari to study more aggressive strategies ahead of the race, weather permitting.

Here are the words of Kimi Raikkonen: “We both finished on the podium in the last race in Austria and it was hot, but on paper it's a different circuit and therefore there are different conditions. We also have the compounds lowered by 0.4 millimetres, so we will only see the real values ​​on Sunday. So far everything has gone well and we hope to continue like this as we prefer these conditions to the cooler ones."

On the third zone DRS added: “I think it's quite complicated to keep it open. In general it doesn't make much difference to the lap time, which is why I personally closed it. We'll see tomorrow".
