Formula 1 | Ferrari confirms: “Kvyat will work exclusively on the Maranello simulator”

Despite the rumors circulating yesterday, Daniil Kvyat is not in contention for a place in Formula One with teams associated with Ferrari. A spokesperson for the Scuderia admitted that the Russian, former Red Bull and Toro Rosso driver, it will simply work within the simulator, helping the owners during the various race weekends. Kvyat will take the place occupied until last year by Antonio Fuoco, working inside the "spider", a cutting-edge simulator with which the Scuderia del Cavallino trains its drivers. The twenty-year-old's contribution will allow the team present on the track to improve the car's set-up, sorting out those factors that cannot be analyzed during free practice due to lack of time.

Here are the words of the spokesperson: “The role taken by Daniil Kvyat is usually associated with the simulator. Daniil will give us a hand inside the “Spider”, helping the team on the various race weekends. Track? There is nothing planned at the moment given that the main activities in this sense will be covered by our owner drivers."
