Formula 1 | Ferrari confirms and expands the commercial agreement with EssilorLuxottica

Through an official note published on its website, Ferrari confirmed and expanded the collaboration agreement with EssilorLuxottica.

Under the new multi-year agreement, effective January 1, 2023, EssilorLuxottica will continue to design, produce and market eyewear products under the Scuderia Ferrari and Ray-Ban brands. The licensing activities also extend to the first mono-brand eyewear collection which will bear the Prancing Horse logo.

EssilorLuxottica's sponsorship is also expanded by the new agreement: the Ray-Ban logo, in addition to continuing to be present on the Formula 1 single-seaters, will appear for the first time on the cars and clothing of the official Competizioni GT drivers, engaged in world endurance championship with the Le Mans Hypercar and in a Gran Turismo championship with GT3 cars.

“From today, Ferrari is preparing to reach new goals together with EssilorLuxottica: from the first eyewear line signed exclusively by the Ferrari brand, to the challenges that await us on the circuits in the next motorsport seasons,” declared Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari. “Starting from a common history, made of excellence and authentic sharing of values, we want to build further, exciting projects together with millions of fans and customers who choose us and believe in a constantly evolving collaboration.”

“Ferrari is a unique brand in the world and the history that binds us has been exciting from the beginning. Thanks to the first collaboration between Ray-Ban and Scuderia Ferrari, we appreciated the passion of car racing lovers for Ferrari and the ability of eyewear to represent the perfect meeting point between the worlds of racing and fashion. With the extension of our partnership, we will now be able to share the same enthusiasm with many more consumers around the world, further developing Ferrari's presence in eyewear,” said Francesco Milleri, President and CEO of EssilorLuxottica.
