Formula 1 | 2019 calendar, Liberty ready to race until December
The last Abu Dhabi Grand Prix would be placed on Sunday 1 December 2019
The joint work between the FIA and Liberty Media continues for the drafting of the 2019 calendar for Formula One.
According to what was reported by the RaceFans website, Liberty has already drawn up the guidelines for the start and conclusion of the championship, with the teams expected to fly to Melbourne a week earlier than expected, i.e. Sunday 17 March 2019.
The first part of the season should take place along a similar path to that of this year, with the only doubt linked to the presence of the German GP (Hockenheim will host the event during this season and therefore, at least on paper, it would be up to the Nurburgring to take the lead burden of the organization.ed.). The real news, however, would concern the conclusion, with the teams engaged on the track until Sunday 1 December. An extremely extended calendar that would lead the teams to a very short winter break.
It should be noted that this forward movement would be caused by the entry of Miami, precisely in the month of October. The final calendar will be published over the next few weeks.
