Formula 1 | Lapse of style by Renault and Mercedes on Twitter: irony over Kubica's failure to return to F1

Bad style slip by Renault and Mercedes on Twitter. This afternoon, the transalpine company published a post relating to an announcement to be made shortly, presumably confirming the presentation date of the 2018 car. The tweet portrays Kermitt from the Muppets with a writing that reads "Exciting news coming next“. A few minutes later, the official Mercedes account chose to respond to the initial post, commenting with the hashtag #AnnounceKubica. A response of little taste given the ordeal suffered by the Pole and the latest events that have seen him as a protagonist, including the sensational rejection by Williams.

Not happy with the "slip", Renault decided to lend a hand to the German team, responding with a surprising "You #AnnounceKubica“. An inelegant attitude for two teams that are part of the Circus elite. We live in a free world and we certainly cannot judge a bit of healthy "joy", but being under everyone's eyes we could avoid making irony on the skin of a pilot who, with strengths and weaknesses, tried to redeem a career full of bad luck. We trust in common sense and apologetic posts from both teams involved. Here is the question and answer in question
