Formula 1 | Brawn launches Mercedes: “Difficult to stop it in 2020”

In a chat given to the columns of Sky Sports F1, Ross Brawn spoke of the competitiveness displayed by Mercedes in the six days of pre-season testing at Barcelona, underlining how it will be complicated for Ferrari and Red Bull to snatch the world titles from the world champion team.

Thanks to regulatory stability, Mercedes has managed to perfect last season's technical package, which will obviously help Lewis Hamilton e Valtteri Bottas to confirm itself at the top (Coronavirus permitting).

“We shouldn't expect major changes in the balance of Formula 1,” said Ross Brawn. “Mercedes is ahead and at the moment it will be difficult to stop it. I don't think we'll see anything different than previous seasons. Not much will change for the top teams, but we hope to see something different in 2021 (now 2022.ed.)”.
