Formula 1 | Brazil 2008, Timo Glock and his dramatic last lap [ONBOARD VIDEO]

Almost ten years later, FOM has finally decided to disclose Timo Glock's last lap in the 2008 Brazilian GP, an event that consecrated Lewis Hamilton in the Olympus of champions for the first time.

It is almost useless to remember the history of that GP: Hamilton, sixth and overtaken by Vettel with three laps to go, struggled to find the rhythm after the switch to intermediate compounds and saw the title slip away at the last race for the second time in a row. A sudden storm, however, changes the cards on the table, penalizing Toyota which with Timo Glock and Jarno Trulli decided to risk everything, remaining on the track with dry tyres.

We all remember the ending: the German, transported by an uncontrollable car, was overtaken in the very last meters of the race, thus allowing Lewis to reach fifth place, the last position needed to become a world champion. Over the years there have been a series of rumors regarding an alleged "biscuit" staged by the Toyota standard-bearer, "accused" of being a close friend of the Englishman. Furthermore, the absence of a Glock onboard has done nothing but fuel these rumors, also putting the German pilot himself in danger.

From Brazil, in fact, as underlined several times by the current BMW standard bearer in the DTM, he received several death threats. Yesterday evening, FOM finally decided to publish the onboard of that fateful lap at Interlagos, confirming the enormous difficulties faced by Glock in the rain.
