Interviewed by the Dutch press, Gerhard Berger spoke about the difficult moment that Sebastian Vettel is experiencing, underlining how the German is experiencing a phase of discomfort, mainly due to the complicated conditions present at Ferrari.

According to what the Austrian reported, in fact, the standard bearer of the Red team is suffering quite significantly from the pressure, an aspect that is not helping him to escape from the negative spiral started during the German Grand Prix last season.

“Sebastian never liked pressure,” said Gerhard Berger to the newspaper De Telegraaf. “He's got a lot of pressure on him at the moment, but I'm sure he'll come out of it. He just has to keep his nerve, press on the accelerator and not read the newspapers."

“Seb needs to find a situation that makes him comfortable,” continued the Austrian. “There are some riders who manage to push despite the conditions, while others need a positive situation. Vettel is one of these."

On the situation at Ferrari he added: “Many times you feel good, but there are situations that lead you to be uncomfortable and I would say that the German is experiencing a phase of discomfort”.
