Formula 1 | Berger: “The agreement between Red Bull and Porsche is done”

Red Bull and Porsche would have entered into an economic and sporting collaboration agreement starting from the 2026 season, according to Gerhard Berger.

According to what was declared by the former Austrian driver, the German brand would have chosen the Anglo-Austrian team to launch its project in Formula 1, effectively creating a combination that will inevitably have to aim for the top already in the first three years of activity in the Circus .

Audi, on the other hand, could bet on the Sauber structure for its entry into the Circus, given that the Swiss team can count on an excellent wind tunnel and a top-level technical base.

“I believe that the agreement between Red Bull and Porsche is a done deal,” said the Austrian. “As far as Audi is concerned, however, there are still two/three teams in the mix, even if all the favors go towards Sauber, a structure that is doing very well together with Alfa Romeo. The Swiss team can count on very solid foundations and this is what the House of the Four Rings is looking for for its commitment in Formula 1."
