Formula 1 | Aston Martin, Stroll on Monza: “We can do as well as in Spa and Baku”

Aston Martin is growing. Given the good race pace, the AMR22 also improved in the flying lap, and this will be important for the end of the season, starting from the last European round of the 2022 world championship, that of Monza. Lance Stroll has good memories of the Brianza track, with the podium achieved with what was still Racing Point in 2020, and hopes to be able to do something important this weekend too.

“I have fantastic memories of Monza – Stroll said. Here I started from the front row in 2017, and I achieved my first podium for the team in 2020. It's a very fast, beautiful and challenging track, I love it. We did well in Spa and Baku, two similar circuits with low downforce, but as we have seen it is always complicated to get into the top ten and therefore into the points. If we were to qualify well, then we could be in play for some important positions."
