Formula 1 | Alpine, Ocon: “I think we could have done more”

Ninth position for Esteban Ocon in the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Alpine driver ended the race in Budapest behind Alonso, after having made his life very difficult both at the start and after the first pit stop, closing down his teammate's advances as if there was no tomorrow and unleashing more resumed the anger of the Spanish champion himself. However, the final result is to be welcomed positively for the French team, still ahead of McLaren in the constructors' championship before the summer break.

“We must be happy to have scored points with both cars – Ocon said. I don't think we have maximized our potential, we will discuss with the team what we could have done to improve. The one stop was challenging, but we worked hard to score points and defend me from Seb on the last lap. We are still in fourth place in the constructors' championship and when we return we want to extend our lead over McLaren. I am proud of the team and the improvements of these months."
