Formula 1 | Alfa Romeo, Calderon optimistic: "I hope to drive an F1 again"
Failure instead for the W Series: "I want to compete with the best"
After the test session held in Mexico City at the end of last season, Tatiana Calderon is ready to sit aboard a Formula 1 car again.
In fact, in an event linked to the next Spanish Grand Prix, the young Colombian driver did not rule out the possibility of a new test over the next few months, especially if performance in Formula 2 were to undergo a clear surge.
Tatiana, we remember, is currently a development driver for the Alfa Romeo Racing team and her activity is mainly linked to the simulator.
“I hope to be able to drive a Formula 1 car already this season,” declared the young Colombian driver. “I think being able to do Formula 2 is already a great privilege, but we still have potential to express and we are aiming for a turning point in the coming weeks.”
Finally, failure for the W Series, a series sponsored by the FIA and reserved only for female drivers: “For me it would be a step backwards. They use Formula 3 cars, while I want to continue my career in Formula 2. Personally, I always want to compete with the best."
