"It was a good Friday for us in which we showed a real improvement compared to previous weekends. The sixth fastest time was a great effort from the team. I think it will still be difficult to get into the top ten, but a good result in Q2 it seems realistic. This morning I had a problem and I didn't lap much in the first session, while in the afternoon I had a small problem which required more time to resolve. We were able to test some new components, including the tyres. It's difficult to say in this moment where we are in terms of performance, we have to wait for the end of the race. Furthermore, it is very difficult to make weather forecasts, it was typical Eifel weather. It changes every hour, it goes from sunny to cold. It's difficult in these conditions to make the tires work."

"A good day for the team, with both riders in the top six positions in both sessions. The first session was very promising for me with a good position, but then the second was disappointing. I hit a wet curb and I went into the barriers. I think I could have done well in the second session, but I'm confident for another Q2 tomorrow."
