Force India, Sutil: “Knowledge of Suzuka could benefit me”
The Indian team is ready to hunt for points
What looked to be a great year for the Force India instead it turned into a disappointment and even in Korea the Indian team brought home a colorless result.
“It was a difficult race, in which the pace we had was not rewarded – the bitter thought of the boss Vijay Mallya – Unfortunately we are no longer able to get into the points, but we must do so in the remaining five races if we want to at least maintain sixth place in the championship."
So he thought about giving a bit of optimism on the eve of the Japanese GP Adrian Sutil. “I lived here for a year when I was 23 and it was a great time, so much so that I didn't want to leave. Together with Spa Suzuka it is one of my favorite tracks because it is very technical, tight and full of bumps. The initial Ss are fantastic, they really make you feel the performance of an F1 and the grip is very high. It is essential to have a good car that helps you find the ideal pace through the many corners, otherwise you can lose important time. In this event, experience counts a lot, so having raced there a lot in Formula 3 I could have an advantage over my colleagues."
“For me it is the best track with Silverstone for how demanding it is on the car – he stated Paul di Resta – When you do the qualifying lap with little fuel you feel an incredible feeling. On a technical level it is a great challenge to find the right set-up and tire management is also not easy given the presence of so many fast corners."
