Force India: Sutil and di Resta positive despite the result at Silverstone

In the British Grand Prix, Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta missed the points. However, the Force India drivers remain positive about the performance shown by the car this weekend.

Adrian Sutil – Pos 11:
“After a promising start to the race, it is disappointing to leave empty-handed. My start was good and things seemed to be going well in the first laps. The conditions were difficult, with a lot of wet areas in the second sector, but I was pretty confident that I would be able to get into the points. I think we made the right decision with the three-stop strategy, but in the end I don't think we had the pace to be in the points today. ”

Paul di Resta – Pos 15:
“It is extremely disappointing for me to finish my first British Grand Prix in P15 after having had a good first half of the race. The car looked quite competitive and I was able to keep Jenson [Button]. I think we made the switch to slick tires at the right time and had a good pace. Then I got a call to pit once again, but when I arrived the team was expecting Adrian, so there was obviously a bit of confusion which cost me quite a bit of time because the guys had to race back to the garage to get my tires. This cost us about 25 seconds, which pretty much ended my options. So it was a frustrating race, but I think we should stay positive because the car showed good pace this weekend which gives me confidence for the second part of the season.”
