Force India, Perez certain of reconfirmation in 2016
"There won't be any problems" according to the Mexican, who is also happy with Hulkenberg's confirmation
Sergio Perez is certain to continue his adventure in Force India in 2016, which began in 2014 after a fleeting period in McLaren. Czech, excellent fifth in the Belgian GP, spoke on the eve of Monza, complimenting the team also for Nico Hulkenberg's two-year renewal.
“I think Nico is a great rider, I'm happy he's staying with us – Sergio said – as for me, I believe that the announcement will come soon. As you know I already have a contract for 2016 and we are working with the team and sponsors to sort everything out in a very short time. I hope to be able to give you certain news before Singapore. However, I have a contract, I feel comfortable here and my priority is to stay there."
Perez does not hide the fact that he is in negotiations for a multi-year agreement with the Anglo-Indian team: “We are certainly talking about it, the team is constantly growing, they are pushing to improve a lot and I know their plans, and I can say that I am happy to be part of this project”.
