Force India F1: Interview with Giancarlo Fisichella

What do you think of the Grand Prix held in Singapore?
Giancarlo Fisichella: "It was a fantastic event and the organizers did an excellent job. The atmosphere around the track was great with many fans, it seemed to be in a stadium. In reality racing under the lights was not so different from usual, the only peculiarity was sleeping during the day and staying awake all night. I didn't have too many problems, so if there were more night races it wouldn't be a problem for me."

And the race?
GF: "The race was quite difficult for us, but I think I did a good job bringing the car to the finish line after the problems we had on Saturday. Given the circumstances we must be satisfied with the team's performance."

Now there's the race in Japan...
GF: "I like racing in Japan, there is a unique atmosphere because the fans are really very passionate and I also have my own fan club there. Fuji is an interesting circuit, with a combination of slow corners and lots of long straights. It's very different to Suzuka, a very driven circuit, but here too there will be a big challenge especially in wet conditions."

Do you want to make a prediction for this upcoming event?
GF: "After Singapore, in my opinion it is not possible to predict any outcome. In my career I don't think I have ever witnessed such an unpredictable season. We will have to concentrate on our performances, without making mistakes and finish the race."
