Force India: Both cars scored points at Sepang

Paul Di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg crossed the finish line of the Malaysian Grand Prix in seventh and ninth position respectively

Paul di Resta – 7th: “The start of the race was a bit chaotic and everyone tried to stay on track and out of trouble. So I did quite well until Pastor Maldonado hit me just before the red flag. I turned around and it cost me about three points. At the restart our pace was very good with the intermediate tires and we managed to stay with the leading group. With the track drying out we switched to slick tires at the same time as everyone else, and I tried to maintain my position in the points. In races like this you need a bit of luck and given the way we started I think we can go far and I'm very happy with this result.”

Nico Hulkenburg – 9th: “I believe today's performance with two points-scoring cars is a great result for the team and I am very happy to score my first points of the season. It was a fairly complicated race and the rain certainly contributed to mixing the cards, but we made the most of our chances and in fact the strategy calls were good. I have to say that today's wet conditions were some of the worst I have ever raced and visibility was almost zero before the race was stopped. Much better when the race restarted, but I struggled with the balance of the car on the intermediates, so I just concentrated on staying in the points."
