Force India, di Resta: “Our strength is continuity”

“We are quite satisfied with the final result obtained in Spain, also considering the problems that occurred during the race”.

Seventh place achieved in Spanish Grand Prix it's a good result for Paul di Resta which, logically, in view of the Monaco Grand Prix on stage next weekend in Monte Carlo hopes to achieve something more.

“With more time to optimize the car with updates, we should be able to improve performance again – declares the pilot Force India -. Monaco was a rewarding race for us last year and we will look to continue our points journey there.".

Living in Monaco, for di Resta it is his home race: the hope is to do well. “Running close to home is really nice because I can go back to my house every night – he admits -. I sleep in my bed and enjoy my space. It's also an opportunity for my family and friends to spend time with me.".

Fifth place in the constructors' standings certainly indicates an excellent start for the team Vijay Mallya, the goal is to continue on the same path, Resta confirms. “McLaren are a strong team and will continue to improve, but so far in the race we have fought it out and have even been faster on some occasions. Realistically, though, we are doing a very good job of regularly beating our direct rivals, Sauber, Williams and Toro Rosso. Our strength is continuity: up to now we have done well in every race and we look forward to every Sunday with confidence.", he concluded.
