Force India: Di Resta and Sutil also scoring points in Monza

In qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix on the Monza circuit, the Force India drivers took the sixth row and are confident of being able to score points in tomorrow's race.

Paul Di Resta – 11th: “Overall I'm pretty happy with how things went today. I was very close to making Q3 and it's a shame to miss out by just six thousandths of a second, but it shows how fierce the fight is in the middle of the pack. One of the things that made the difference was the slipstream, which is something I wasn't able to exploit for my last run in Q2. Being in P11 means I'm the first car to have a free choice of tyres, so perhaps that could work to our advantage, especially as I have a new set of soft tires available. I can't wait to race because our long run worked quite well in free practice and I hope it will be the same in the race. ”

Adrian Sutil – 12th: “It was another normal session for me, no problems and I think we can be quite happy with the result. We knew it would be difficult to make Q3, but we were very close and I feel like I got the most out of the car. Points are definitely possible, but it won't be easy because Renault and Mercedes look very fast here. Race pace could be a different matter, but we will have to fight a lot and it will be difficult to beat them. Plus, there are also a lot of fast cars behind us to watch out for. There are still a lot of unknowns for the race because there are a few options with the strategy and the big question is whether to stop once or twice. “
