Force India: Celis will drive the VJM09 during free practice in Monza
Nico Hulkenberg will hand over the wheel to him
Force India today announced that its young driver, Alfonso Celis will drive the VJM09 during the first session of free practice for the Italian Grand Prix.
As per the contract, the young Mexican this year had the possibility of being behind the wheel of the car for seven sessions of free practice throughout the season: so far the Mexican has already taken to the track three times, namely in Bahrain, Russia and Austria. Furthermore, Celis also had the chance to drive for the Indian team during the winter tests and during the in-season tests in Spain.
Nico Hulkenberg will hand over the car to him for the first free practice session in Monza, who will regularly return to his VJM09 in the afternoon.
