A hearing set by the FIA ​​for Renault-branded espionage

The less known and less debated story of this summer of poisons, which sees Renault accused of having been aware of information belonging to McLaren for some time, will be discussed by the FIA ​​World Motor Sport Council in a session that will take place in Monaco on December 6, 2007.

This was made known in an official press release by the FIA ​​itself, which forced the leaders of the French team to answer for the illicit possession - between September 2006 and October 2007 - of data regarding the dimensional aspects of the car, the refueling system , gearbox structure, lubricant cooling system, hydraulic actuator control and new McLaren-specific suspension components. The accusation made against Renault falls within the case contemplated by article 151c of the International Sporting Code.
