FIA | Peter Bayer will no longer be executive director of Formula 1
Bayer will be replaced on an interim basis by Shaila-Ann Rao

The FIA, with an official note, reported that Peter Bayer will no longer be present in its organization chart. Bayer, General Secretary of Sport since 2017 and Executive Director of Formula 2021 since 1, will be replaced on an interim basis by Shaila-Ann Rao. The latter, fresh back to the Federation, had been Legal Director of the FIA from mid-2016 to the end of 2018 while her last assignment was at Mercedes. In the German company you first held the role of General Counselor and then Special Counselor to the CEO and Team Principal Toto Wolff.
