Ferrari: A pre-season day in Spain

Pat Fry: “A lot of irons in the fire this Friday in Montmelò and, from what we can say straight away, the first impressions are positive. We had many new features to try: as always happens on these occasions, some worked well, others less so and now it's a matter of putting together the best puzzle with the pieces available. We also experimented with new aerodynamic concepts to verify their actual usefulness. All in all, I think we have made progress in terms of performance, although it remains difficult to establish exactly whether and how close we have come to the best. The objective is to improve the performance in qualifying and further progress in the race pace, on the path already followed in the last races. It won't be easy to achieve this but we are confident. Compared to what we had seen in the winter tests, even in the presence of much higher temperatures the degradation of the tires seems to be very significant: I really think that the pit stop guys will have a lot of work to do on Sunday afternoon..."
