Ferrari | Breaking news: Sainz has to have surgery and misses the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
His place in Jeddah will be taken by Oliver Bearman
A final sensational hour arrives. Carlos Sainz will not participate in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The Spaniard will have to undergo surgery appendicitis, following the pain felt in the last two days. Despite this, the #55 still ran in yesterday's free practice, despite feeling considerable physical weakness. For this reason therefore, the Ferrari was forced to be replaced, and will be Oliver Bearman racing today and tomorrow, the Scuderia itself announced it via its social channels. The Briton, in pole position in the Formula 2 race, will obviously not take part in the "cadet" category to fully concentrate on his work with the SF-24. We wish Carlos Sainz a very speedy recovery.
