Ferrari, last power unit change planned for the Mexican GP?

Vettel and Raikkonen could mount the fifth and final power unit of this season during the Mexican Grand Prix, the third to last round of this 2015 Formula One world championship.

In addition to the change planned for the Italian Grand Prix, in fact, the Scuderia di Maranello has planned a further rotation for the race in Mexico City, where, considering the tokens remaining after the updates of Montreal and Monza, some pieces will be introduced to the basis of the 2016 unit. An important test where Ferrari will look for the right feedback for the new power unit that is being created on the test benches of the Emilian factory.

While waiting for Mexico City, however, Vettel and Raikkonen will be able to count on a new evolution for their home race, that Italian Grand Prix so dear to Sergio Marchionne and the entire management of the "Red".

In the next few days, Ferrari will redeem three tokens for the development of the power train which, in all likelihood, will be used to recover another handful of horsepower from the thermal unit. A dress rehearsal before the last rotation scheduled for the season finale. All that remains is to wait and see if the SF15-T will once again be able to get close to the W06 Hybrids of Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.
