Ferrari denies replacing Felipe Massa

Ferrari has denied rumors of an imminent replacement of Felipe Massa. The Brazilian's contract will expire at the end of the year but after the disappointing performances offered by Massa in Australia in recent days there have been rumors of a possible arrival of Sergio Perez, Adrian Sutil or Jarno Trulli.

According to the Brazilian newspaper O Estado de S.Paulo, Ferrari spokesman Luca Colajanni declared that these are "baseless rumours".

Colajanni added that Ferrari will offer its full support to Massa and has created a new chassis for the Brazilian to try to quickly resolve the problems suffered in Australia.

According to Massa, the problem actually concerned the chassis: "My set-up wasn't very different from Alonso's but my tires ran out after a few laps."
