Ferrari, Raikkonen believes in the world championship: "But we must not make any more mistakes"

Kimi Raikkonen does not lose hope of fighting on equal terms with Mercedes and after three races he does not feel like excluding Ferrari from the championship fight. The Finnish driver, unlucky at the start in the Chinese GP and author of a good comeback from the back to fifth place, only hopes that the team can start to optimize the good potential of the SF16-H, experiencing regular and linear weekends, avoiding mistakes and inaccuracies that have so far cost the team dearly.

“We have only had three GPs, a lot can still happen and so it will. However, we need to maximize our potential without having problems at every race, trying to do the best we can - thus Kimi Raikkonen on the Prancing Horse's world championship hopes - We are not too far from Mercedes, we also saw it in China, we have the speed to be close to them, but we must no longer make mistakes, because if we don't have clean races it is impossible to beat them. We need to improve our package but also our performance on the track. There will be tracks where we will be very strong, we just have to work hard. Rosberg won three races, which is certainly not an ideal situation for us, but he was good and deserves these successes."

Raikkonen speaks as a leader, demonstrating that he thinks more than once about the world championship, looking forward (Mercedes) and not backwards (Red Bull). Toned like he hasn't been seen for a long time, Kimi just asks to be able to compete in a GP without setbacks. Ferrari still has a lot to give to this world championship.
