Ferrari loses injunction against FIA
di F1 editorial team20 May, 2009
The French court called to decide on the injunction presented by Ferrari against the introduction of the budget cap for 2010 ruled in favor of the FIA. The authority has established that the Maranello team does not have a valid reason to block the voluntary budget cap of 40 million pounds.
This means that the deadline of May 29th for registering for the championship remains valid and the teams therefore have a few days to resolve their objection to the regulations.
Ferrari has already reiterated several times that it does not intend to take part in the 2010 world championship without changes to the new rules.
