Ferrari, new aerodynamicists arriving from McLaren
di StaffJanuary 4, 2012
Pat Fry would have attracted other technicians after his move from McLaren to Ferrari. After a long career at Woking, Fry arrived at Maranello last year and is now the Prancing Horse's Chassis Technical Director.
According to rumors, Fry managed to convince his former McLaren colleagues, Rupad Darekar, Jonathan Heal, Ioannis Veloudis, Giacomo Tortora and Lawrence Hodge to move to Ferrari.
According to the Turun Sanomat newspaper, the project leader of the McLaren aerodynamics department, Marcin Budkowski, would also be arriving in Maranello. News that would have been denied by McLaren's managing director, Jonathan Neale, who simply spoke of a "sabbatical" for the technician while waiting to return to work in 2012.
