Ferrari: Massa officially confirmed for 2013
Contract renewed until the end of next season
With a short press release, Ferrari announced that it had renewed Felipe Massa's contract for the 2013 Formula 1 season. “Scuderia Ferrari announces that it has renewed the technical-sporting collaboration agreement with the driver Felipe Massa until the end of the season sports car 2013. The Scuderia's driver duo next year will therefore be made up of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa himself" reads the note.
Today's announcement, quite obvious after the statements made in recent days by Stefano Domenicali, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo and Massa himself, therefore puts an end to the welter of rumors that had cast doubt on the Brazilian's stay in Maranello until a few weeks ago . However, the excellent results obtained at the end of the season have pushed Cavallino to confirm Massa for next season. Once again the Red Team will present itself at the start with the pair formed by Felipe and Fernando Alonso.
