Sergio Marchionne arrived in Maranello this morning by helicopter to congratulate the Ferrari Sports Management staff on Sebastian Vettel's victory at the Formula 1 Malaysian GP. Having landed in Fiorano at 9.42am, Marchionne moved to the industrial sector to congratulate all the staff of the GES.
Subsequently, the Cavallino president took part in the debriefing of the team returning from Malaysia and after some celebrations the development work resumed in view of the next races in China and Bahrain.
Congratulations also from the president of FCA, John Elkann: “It was fantastic to see Ferrari on the podium again to celebrate a victory: it hadn't happened since 2013. It was a great happiness shared with the family."
