Last day of testing of the week in Monza for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro and the other nine Formula 1 teams. Yesterday the reigning world champion Kimi Raikkonen took to the track at the wheel of the F2008. The Finnish driver worked on defining the best set-up of the car in view of the race that will take place on this track on September 14th, as well as on the development of aerodynamic and mechanical solutions for the rest of the season.

"It was a good day, in which we tried to set up the car for this track and tried some new solutions" – declared Kimi at the end of the work on the track – "I would say that we did a good job, even if It's too early to say what the situation will be like during the race weekend. I was pleased to meet President Montezemolo, who came to visit us today at the track. Now we have to try to do everything as best we can to return to victory, starting from the Spa race. The world championship? We will give our best and then we will do the math at the end."

This is the summary of the day in numbers: 79 laps completed, the fastest in a time of 1.23.371.

The Scuderia will return to the track on Tuesday 2 September in Fiorano, where Luca Badoer will test the single-seaters that will be used in the Belgian Grand Prix, scheduled for 7 September on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
