Ferrari: the new updates don't work?
First rumors: the news would not have given the desired results
Ferrari completed its final aerodynamic test of the season yesterday in Idiada, Spain. At the wheel of the F2012 was Jules Bianchi who tested numerous new components throughout the day, including an updated rear wing and a new diffuser with the aim of allowing Fernando Alonso to match the performance of Sebastian Vettel's Red Bull in the last two races to still hope for a comeback.
At the moment the Spaniard is 10 points behind the German in the standings.
According to the first rumors coming from Spain, the updates would not have given the desired results. Although a different wind tunnel was used, there would once again be a mismatch between the data in the tunnel and those obtained on the track.
We just have to wait for the US GP weekend.
