Ferrari and Red Bull postpone tests

Red Bull and Ferrari tests postponed. The last testing session awaiting the start of the World Championship is scheduled for March 1st to 4th, but the two teams will start one day later than the other teams, i.e. from March 2nd to 5th. Initially it was the Maranello team who made the request, but the Austrian team decided to tag along by asking permission from the Cavallino which agreed. The reason? A logistical question, as Red Bull team principal Chris Horner explains.

"We decided to join Ferrari to race from Friday to Monday instead of Thursday to Sunday, we postponed it by a day because from a logistical point of view it makes more sense for us – has explained -. We asked Ferrari if we could join them and they agreed. This is permitted by the rules regarding testing and, in fact, albeit for different reasons, Lotus also does it."
