Ferrari: doubts about Kimi Raikkonen's renewal

Just last week Kimi Raikkonen expressed his desire to keep running, also in 2016, but, at least in Ferrari, they don't seem to be 100% convinced of the option that the Finn has on his contract. The rumor began to circulate in the Bahrain paddock according to which Lewis Hamilton would have been contacted by the Prancing Horse and this time, not for the purchase of a great car exit from factory of Maranello. Despite the Marchionne's denial, the Team Principal, Maurizio Arrivabene, also thought to fuel the rumors and, pressed on the renewal of Iceman it was held rather vague stating that he will have to earn his confirmation in the next Grand Prix.

Right in Sakhir, the Finnish driver gave away a race full of emotions. Iceman, who managed to keep up with his direct rivals on Soft, when he was on Medium tyres, in a certain sense wanted to send a strong signal to the men from the Prancing Horse. Steve Robertson, manager of the Finn, admitted that the key to his client's success is the return James allison, the Sporting Director of the Red team. Sakhir's second place reminded the driver's manager of the results obtained in the 2012/2013 Lotus two-year period, when Kimi Raikkonen literally shone with the Anglo-French car: “What Kimi is experiencing in Ferrari now has similarities with Lotus. He is riding at his best and it shows really comfortable with the front part of the car,” Robertson commented to his Turun Sanomat colleagues.
