Ferrari: Testing completed in Abu Dhabi. Tire tests for Bianchi

Third and final day of testing for Scuderia Ferrari and the other eleven teams competing in the Formula 1 World Championship on the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Even today the 150° Italia was entrusted to Jules Bianchi. The French driver worked in the morning on various settings of the single-seater and on some aerodynamic measurements while in the afternoon he dedicated himself to evaluating the experimental Pirelli tires over long distances.

At the end of the day Jules had completed 106 laps, the fastest in a time of 1.41.347.

“They were three days of very intense testing, for me and for the team” – declared the Ferrari driver – “I am satisfied with the work carried out because we were able to do practically everything that was planned for this test. In particular, today we carried out some long runs to verify the long-distance behavior of the Pirelli tires. In these three days I only used the Soft compound because it was the best one to allow the team to carry out its work on the track in the right way."

Having concluded the Young Drivers Test, the Scuderia is preparing for the nineteenth and final stage of the 2011 Championship, the Brazilian Grand Prix, scheduled for the Interlagos circuit (São Paulo) from 25 to 27 November.

Circuit: Yas Marina – 5,554 km
