Ferrari: Arrivabene, the head of Marlboro, instead of Mattiacci?

After just seven months, Marco Mattiacci could be close to saying goodbye to the top management of the Ferrari Sport Management. According to the latest rumors, Maurizio Arrivabene, current manager of the Marlboro brand in Europe, could replace the 43-year-old.

Mattiacci had to manage the Ferrari crisis period after the farewell of Stefano Domenicali and Luca Marmorini as well as the recent farewell of Fernando Alonso and finalize the negotiation with Sebastian Vettel.

According to Sport Bild, however, the new president of Cavallino, Sergio Marchionne, is not satisfied with Mattiacci's work: "Probably, Sergio Marchionne is not satisfied with the work of the Roman manager" we read in the German newspaper.

Arrivabene is not a complete stranger to the world of F1: he oversaw the Marlboro sponsorship of the Maranello team and is said to be particularly close to Bernie Ecclestone.
