F1 | Zhou ready for the trip to Abu Dhabi: "I want to give the team important points"

Points objective for Guanyu Zhou in the next Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the final round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship. The Chinese driver from Alfa Romeo, at the end of the first season together with Biscione, wants to make the most of the growth of the last few races to guarantee himself a placing within the top ten, so as to offer a contribution to the team's pursuit of sixth place in the constructors' championship, currently contested with Aston Martin.

“The last twelve months with the team have flown by,” said the Chinese man. “It's been a great year and I can admit that I've grown a lot from Bahrain to today, both as a driver and as a person. I can't wait to see what we can do with the team next year. Everyone, from day one, made me feel at home. From management to Valtteri, through Vasseur and the engineers. They all played an important role in my growth. I have enjoyed this journey and can't wait to start another one."

“In Abu Dhabi I would like to get a good result for the team”, he continued. “So as to repay them for the commitment they put on the table. I have competed on this track every day, albeit in Formula 2, and personally I have always had fun. I approach this weekend with the awareness that I have in my hands not only a good package, which proved to be competitive in Brazil, but also the right motivation. I want to help the team close the issue of sixth place in the constructors' championship."
