F1 | Wolff: “Each of us is open to change”
The Mercedes boss said he was ready to accept new rules to improve the show
The new circus rules may not be enough to guarantee the show. The first race in Australia showed very fast cars, but also a level of duels and overtaking reduced to a minimum.
In a recent interview the Mercedes boss Toto wolff he expressed himself very clearly in this regard, showing himself open to new regulatory changes if things do not improve.
“First we have to see how the next races will go – he told the Dutch magazine Formule 1 – but if we have to change things, I think each of us is open to doing so”.
Also Christian horner of Red Bull would be open to a possibility which, however, does not seem to completely convince the Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel.
“Maybe I'm old school, but I think some things shouldn't change – he said – After just one race or a couple of races people would already want a change. I think too much change is wrong."
