F1 | Williams, Stroll: “I'm not intimidated and I knew what to expect”

The first approach was not easy Lance stroll with Formula 1. The young Canadian driver was the protagonist of at least three fundamental errors during testing in Barcelona.

This put the boy at the center of some criticism, immediately rejected by the person concerned: “This has nothing to do with the fact that I am here among the grown-ups. It's the same thing in every championship, if you push hard you can make mistakes. I'm not intimidated, I prepared and knew what to expect, these tires have exceptional grip and I just have to adapt."

The glass can only be half full: “I have done 100 laps without problems and you can see that I am physically ready. I just have to adapt my driving to the power of the car and I have a couple of days to do that."

The Williams engineer also defended his driver Rob smedley: “We don't consider Lance's mistakes, because Massa also almost did the same thing twice and he's a guy with 15 years of experience.”

Words of comfort also from Lewis Hamilton: “It was to be expected. He did more tests than the others but last year's cars were much easier than these."

Nico Hulkenberg he agreed with his Mercedes colleague: "It is much more difficult for beginners to enter Formula 1 with these single-seaters."
