Interviewed by the official Williams website, Dave Robson analyzed the result obtained by George Russell and Nicholas Latifi in the last Austrian Grand Prix, ninth round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship, highlighting how the team is absolutely satisfied with the race pace shown by the FW43B.

Despite the Englishman's 11th place, one step away from the points zone occupied by Fernando Alonso, the British team promoted the car's growth with flying colours, specifying how the objective will be to redeem itself starting from the next Grand Prix of Great Britain, home race for the Woking team.

“We gave everything in the race and managed to fight hard against several mid-table teams,” said Dave Robson. “Unfortunately George was unable to keep Fernando Alonso and therefore tenth place behind him, but as a team we can only be satisfied with the work done”.

“The car performed well throughout the weekend,” he continued. “After the last challenging hat-trick of races we can't wait to return home and recharge our batteries, also in view of the Silverstone race. It will be great to be back in the UK with the crowd in the stands. We will face the challenge of the sprint qualification and we are curious to find out what the weekend has in store for us."
