F1 | Williams, Sainz and Albon's new FW47 will be presented on Valentine's Day
The Spaniard: "We want to take the team to the top as soon as possible"
Williams will unveil its 1 Formula 2025 car on February 14. La FW47 will be unveiled during a special promotional event at the historic circuit of Silverstone, theater of the first Grand Prix of Formula 1 since 1950, to celebrate the of the world championship. For the occasion, the single-seater will be presented with an exclusive and personalized livery. The definitive version of the 2025 race livery will instead be revealed on February 18, during the launch of the Formula 1 season in London. In line with its transformation path under the guidance of Dorilton Capital, Williams presents itself in 2025 with one of the most competitive driver pairings in the championship. Carlos Sainz, winner of four career races will join Alex Albon, forming a very respectable couple.

We have an outstanding driver line-up in Alex and Carlos, world-class engineers who have joined us from other teams on the grid, and new operational facilities at our home in Grove. Our 2025 car has been in development for some time and I am thrilled to see it for the first time at Silverstone on February 14. Everyone is working tirelessly to get this team back to where it belongs, as we prepare for the major regulation changes of 2026. It will be an exciting and challenging year.”
